How much does it cost?

Which devices are compatible with the Take 40 app?

The app is designed for the iPhone running iOS 4.0 onwards. The app will also function on iPods and iPads running iOS 4.0 onwards, but is not yet optimised for these devices. The Take 40 app is optimised for Android version 2.2 and 2.3

Is the Take 40 app available on my carrier?

Yes, the Take 40 iPhone app can be downloaded and used with all mobile carriers.

How long does it take to download content?

This is dependent on your connection speed, which can be affected by signal strength, mobile reception and interference. Connecting using Wi-Fi will offer the fastest experience.

How do I create my own playlist?

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch you can add any video to your playlist by touching the star that appears next to each video. The star will turn orange, indicating that the video has been added to your playlist. If the star does not appear next to the video you want to select, simply swipe the video thumbnail to reveal the star and touch it to add the video to your playlist.

On your Android phone you can add any video to your playlist by simply pressing on the video image and holding for a few seconds, then selecting 'Add To My Playlist'.

Can I fast-forward videos?

To fast-forward or adjust the scrubbing rate, hold down the timer bar at the top or bottom of the screen and drag to the right.

Can I use the Take 40 app overseas?

We advise checking with your mobile operator prior to using the app overseas as most monthly plans charge additional fees for international data roaming.

How often is the content updated?

New videos, interviews and trailers are updated constantly. The Take 40 chart is updated every week; if you allow push notifications when you install the app you will be notified every time the chart is updated.

How do I remove the app?

To remove the app from your device simply hold down the Take 40 icon on your iPhone or iPod touch. When the icon begins to 'shake' click the black delete icon. To delete the app from your iTunes account, simply highlight the app with your cursor and press the 'delete' key.

To remove the app from your Android device, open the 'Market' app and select 'My apps' from the home screen or menu screen. Simply select the app and on the application home screen, select the 'Uninstall' button.
