Joel Turner And The Modern Day Poets

Joel formed the Modern Day Poets with his brother, Dub LT, and their cousin, C4.

"We're like a totally new sound," Joel says. "We're hip hop, but with a human beat box. And we add guitar to make it real."

"It's all over the place, it's mad," adds C4.

The Modern Day Poets' first offering is the haunting single These Kids, a "song that goes out to whole justice system. Nobody knows the sufferin' they go through and you wouldn't believe 'em if they told you."

"I wrote These Kids after one of my mates committed suicide," Dub LT says. "That's what I was thinking about."
