Jessica Mauboy has continued her streak of recording with amazing overseas artists. She's already worked with Flo Rida, Ludacris and Snoop Dogg, and now its Jay Sean's turn. We got the goss from Jessica on what it was like to work with Jay when we sat down with her for an exclusive interview.

Jess and Jay hooked up to record 'What Happened To Us' -- but unfortunately they only hooked up in a musical sense, despite things getting pretty steamy in their music video!

Jess got a bit embarrassed when she described how close she really got to British hottie Jay.

"There was a moment where we thought we going to give the audience something to talk about, so we thought we'd be really close in that scene," she told take40.com.

"It was the last scene of the music video and we were kind of singing to each other," she laughed. "So we kind of did a little bit of that."

Jess, who has a boyfriend, also talked about how awkward it was to watch her kissing scene in 'Bran Nue Dae'.

She said, "We were sitting there, and it comes up to the kissing scene, and he's like 'Oh not again!' It's quite hard I think for both of us to look back at the things and just be like 'Did that happen?'"

She also gave us the scoop on what it was like to meet Rihanna, and told us a bit more about working with Jay Sean. Plus Jess performed a special acoustic version of 'What Happened To Us'.
