Akon to Write Book

'Smack That' singer Akon has announced plans to write a book later this year.

Akon's book will apparently be titled 'Thug Politics' and be published through rapper C-Murder's company 'TRU Publishing'.

Akon will join C-Murder and fellow rapper Jacki-O in a literacy scheme to promote his book, and to promote literacy amongst children.
