My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero has pulled out of their world tour due to a family illness.
This brings the band down to three real members!! Gerard and Mikey Way and Ray Toro are the only ones left. MCR's drummer Bob Bryar is already taking a break due to a sore wrist!
Guitar technician Matt Cortez will fill in temporarily for Iero, after he left the tour following Sunday night's show in the UK.
According to Gerard Way, Iero will be replaced by "a friend of ours named Pete who plays in another band, so has asked us kindly not to say the name."
My Chemical Romance promise that fans won't miss out on the full MCR experience, despite the line up changes. "We've been through a lot of stuff on this record, dealt with life situations and stuff," Gerard said. "Ultimately, it's gonna be a little different and look a little different, but we're ready for this."
My Chemical Romance are due to kick off the Australian leg of their 'Black Parade' tour very soon! They perform the first show in Brisbane on November 28.
