Stephanie McIntosh's 'Mistake'

Stephanie McIntosh from Neighbours is the latest starlet to make the jump from soapy babe to popstar and if her first single is anything to go by then she could well be one of the most successful.

The single 'Mistake' is an angsty pop tune with more grit and growl than many Neighbours fans might have expected. "Its not as poppy as people are going to expect, which is exactly what I wanted, agrees Steph.

Featuring in the vid for the tune alongside Steph is Ryan Carnes of Desperate Housewives fame.

Stephanie's debut album 'Tightrope' has been two years in the making and is due for release on September 9.
