PHOTOS: Mariah Carey Launches Website To Promote Her Twins

Power vocalist Mariah Carey has shown off intimate family portraits on a new website created especially for her baby twins.

Carey and her husband Nick Cannon welcomed a son and a daughter, Moroccan and Monroe, on 30 April of this year, the same day as their third wedding anniversary.

The stars seemingly tried to give their newborns a low profile this year, but now have gone to the other extreme by showcasing the babies for the first time on U.S. TV show 20/20 on Friday - and this week launching a website, entitled DemBabies.com, to keep fans up-to-date on their development.

A statement on the website reads, "We deliberated for so long about how to reveal the first pictures of our babies to the world. We just didn't want to do the typical thing and display them in a tabloid."

"We decided to share this beautiful experience with you in a special intimate portrait of our family... The love we feel for these babies is above and beyond anything we'd ever dreamed of."

Photographs in the online album include Carey holding one of the babies in hospital, swimming with daughter Monroe, and the family-of-four dressed up as superheroes The Incredibles.
