Travis Barker has been forced to pull out of the European leg of his tour with new band +44, following a repeat injury on his arm, which was initially fractured while filming a video clip in October last year.
Ex-Blink 182 drummer Travis will be replaced by a substitute until he is well enough to play again. This will undoubtedly cause concern for Aussie Travis fans out there, as the band are due to play here in late Feb/early March!
"The band supports [Travis'] decision to leave the tour and allow his injury to heal. The guys are committed to their tour and their fans. Travis's health is of the utmost importance right now," said the band in a statement.
At the time of his original injury last year, doctors thought that as well as a broken arm Travis may have had a tumor, but this was luckily dismissed. Travis was however ordered to eat meat to improve his bones, a difficult task for a vegetarian of 16 years!
