One of the original stars of '80s TV show "The Dukes Of Hazzard" has dismissed the new Hollywood remake as a "sleazy insult".
Ben Jones, who played Cooter in the hit show, has slammed the flick starring Jessica Simpson and Johnny Knoxville, branding the dialogue "profanity laced" with the plot full of "blatant sexual situations that mock the good clean family values of our series".
He urged fans to avoid the remake "unless they clean it up!"
Strangely, Ben admitted he hasn't seen the film - although he has read the script.
"The Dukes Of Hazzard" opens around Australia on September 15.
