The Brit Awards took place in London last night, with Take That and the Arctic Monkeys the biggest winners.
Reformed man-band Take That took home the awards for 'Best British Single' for their song 'Shine', and also 'Best British Live Act'. The Arctic Monkeys won 'Best British Album' for 'Favourite Worst Nightmare', as well as 'Best British Group'. Kylie Minogue won the 'Best International Female Solo Artist' and Kanye West 'Best International Male Solo Artist'.
US rockers the Foo Fighters, though unable to attend the event, scored two awards. 'Best International Group' and 'Best International Album' went to the Foos, who accepted via a video message.
"Thanks very much for the Brit Award," frontman Dave Grohl said. "It really is an honour to be recognised alongside the likes of Huey Lewis and the News, Culture Club, MC Hammer and Kula Shaker... Sorry we couldn't be there, but we've just sold out Madison Square Garden!"
Amy Winehouse missed out on taking home any awards last night, though she did perform with DJ Mark Ronson in a medley. Watch the performance here...
