Robbie Williams has become a father for the first time to a baby girl!

The UK singer and his wife Ayda welcomed daughter Theodora Rose today, who weighed in at 7lbs 4oz.

He made the announcement on his official blog with a post saying: "PRAISE BE, IT'S THEODORA ROSE WILLIAMS, AFFECTIONATELY KNOWN AS TEDDY..... BORN 3.33PM ON 18.9.12, 7LBS 4OZ...”

Robbie is rumoured to have hired Victoria Beckham’s expert birthing assistants at Portland Hospital in London, but this has not been confirmed.

His wife Ayda is American, so the couple are still not sure where they will settle to raise their daughter.

They agreed that the baby should be born in Robbie’s homeland England.

“I want the baby to have an English passport, but we’re still figuring out where we’re gonna live,” Robbie revealed to BBC Radio One recently.
