Il Divo Desperate To Record Song With Eminem

04 December 2011

Operatic four piece Il Divo has revealed their desire to collaborate with rapper Eminem- despite the obvious differences in their music styles!

The group has already performed collaborations with Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion- so are looking to shake things up a little!

Il Divo member Urs said of the request, "I think working with Eminem would be something so different from anything we've done so far, but I can so imagine it if I listen to certain Eminem tracks."

He went on to add, "He's so energetic and we are quite energetic as well. If you imagine him rapping to the verses and then us singing a big, strong operatic chorus, I think that would work so well together.

Urs then expressed the bands desire to make the collab happen by the next album stating, 'It would be quite controversial I think, based on what we've done so far. We could do it for our next album. I'd love it."

Not quite sure the rap king would be up for it... but stranger things have happened!

Il Divo has also professed a desire to work with Beyonce, Adele, Tina Turner, Jessie J and Leona Lewis.

Can't wait to see which one of those requests becomes a reality!

What do you think? Would a collab between classical Il Divo and Eminem work?
