Splendour In The Grass Lineup Announced

One of Australia's favourite music festivals, 'Splendour In The Grass' is back again for another year.

The lineup includes top artists such as Powderfinger, Kaiser Cheifs, Lily Allen, Sarah Blasko, Grinspoon, Arctic Monkeys, Hilltop Hoods, The Shins, The Klaxons, Josh Pyke and Bloc Party!

Organisers of the 2 day event have this year introduced their 'Green Ticket Initiative'. Punters can purchase a 'green ticket' for an additional $3.50 to offset the carbon emissions generated from travel to and from the event. As stated in their press release, "'Splendour' has always recognised the importance of protecting the environment while putting on a great show. For the past two years 'Splendour' has offset 100% of its carbon emissions associated with running the show."

Tickets for 'Splendour in the Grass' go on sale Tuesday May 14. A regular ticket costs $185 inc. GST plus booking fee, and a camping ticket costs $115 inc. GST plus booking fee. For ticket information go to www.splendourinthegrass.com or call 1300 762 545.
