Geri Halliwell has said that she needs to learn to love herself before settling down.

The singer said: I'm trying to have a relationship with myself first - I can't connect with anyone else unless I'm connecting with myself.

"In the past in relationships I'd lose a little bit of myself and feel a bit swamped and then I'd freak out and not want to be close."
