3 Doors Down have started their own children and young adult's charity, called The Better Life Foundation.
Frontman Brad Arnold has told sources that the band members "see it as a start of something really good and we can do a lot with it. It makes us feel good, too, to do it".
Named after the band's album 'The Better Life', the charity hopes to provide under-privileged children and young adults with food, shelter and medical assistance if required.
The band has already raised over US$90,000 towards the charity, with some proceeds from their yet-to-be-announced tour set to go towards The Better Life Foundation.
