Mary J Blige Cancels Oz Tour

Mary J Blige has now cancelled her Australian tour.

After last month announcing that her July tour would be postponed until around November this year because Mary was suffering exhaustion from her hectic schedule, Chugg Entertainment have issued a release announcing the cancellation of the tour all together.

The statement reads: "...the 2008 tour would no longer go ahead due to re-scheduling issues surrounding Mary J Bliges existing international tour schedule and personal commitments."

Michael Chugg said in the statement: "We have been in constant contact with Mary's management and have tried a number of alternatives to make this work... I want to take this opportunity to thank all of Marys supporters who got behind this tour and called my office every day waiting on news.

"I want them to know that we will get Mary to Australia one day and I hope it will be soon, she is a superstar."

Fans who had already purchased tickets may obtain a full refund from their point of purchase.
