Some of the biggest names in rap have joined forces to shout out to fans about the importance of being financially hip. Names like LL Cool J, Alicia Keys and Nas got together over the weekend for the very seriously named 'Hip Hop Summit on Financial Empowerment'.

The rappers believe it is very important that people take good care of their money. "The biggest misconception probably comes from the hip-hop community itself ... that the money lasts forever," said LL Cool J. "You have to do the right thing with it."
