Delta Goes for Gold!

Neighbours star and pop-singer Delta Goodrem has been nominated for the prestigious Gold Logie Award, ending weeks of speculation surrounding the nominations.

Goodrem will be up against Lisa Chappell, Rove McManus, Georgie Parker and John Wood for the top award but is already the firm favourite, with fellow nominee Chappell saying, "Put it this way, I haven't written an acceptance speech."

Celebrating its 46th Anniversary, the Logie Awards will take place on Sunday, April 18th at Melbourne's Crown Casino. Known to be Australia's premier TV awards, the Logies are tipped to be bigger and better than before!

As well as being the favourite to win the coveted Gold Logie, Goodrem has also been nominated in the Most Popular Actress category.
