Ashanti Forced to Cancel African Gig

R&B singer Ashanti was forced to cancel a gig in Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday night after her cousin was killed in a car accident in the town. The singer's cousin died after her car was hit by a drunk 17-year-old's car which he had stolen from his mother.

The singer was said to be too devastated to perform.
