Jack Black (of 'High Fidelity' and 'Shallow Hall' fame) and his good friend Kyle Gass, make up the Greatest Band in History - Tenacious D. The 'D' started out oh-so-many-years-ago jamming in Kyle's studio apartment in Los Angeles, and then moved on to their first gig at Al's Bar in down town LA in 1994. The rest, as they say, is history. Wherever the D performed, people knew they were witnessing something special. Tenacious D's current single, 'Tribute' - features Foo Fighters/ex Nirvana member Dave Grohl on drums, who also stars in the hilarious video clip. The Tenacious D album was produced by the Dust Brothers (of Beck and Beastie Boys production fame) and recorded at The Boat and Neil Diamond's ArcAngel studio in Los Angeles. Look out for some special appearances on the album from friends of The D - Dave Grohl, Page Mcconnell from Phish, Warren Fitzgerald from the Vandals and Steve McDonald from Redd Kross.
