Pete Murray Marries

Aussie singer/songwriter Pete Murray has wed his longtime girlfriend Amanda Coutts in a low-key ceremony near Byron Nay.

The couple have been together for quite a number of years with Amanda being quoted as being Pete's inspiration for getting into the music business in the first place after his promising rugby league career ended.

The actual ceremony was held in the town of Eureka not far from Byron Bay and the couple's wedding car was the Kombi van that appeared on the front cover of Pete's album 'Feeler'. Pete even managed to slip out of his trademark jeans and t-shirt and in to a swanky dark suit for the event!

The couple are expected to slip in a quick honeymoon before Pete plays at the 2006 Motorola ARIAs on October 29!
