KANYE WANTS TO BE ELVIS

Chris Brown, Kanye West, Alicia Keys and Rihanna were the big winners at Sunday night's American Music Awards.

Chris Brown took home three awards including Artist of the Year, Favourite Male Artist (Pop or Rock Music), and Favourite Male Artist (Soul/R&B Music)!

Alicia Keys' album 'As I Am' picked up two awards, and Kanye West's 'Graduation' album won 'Favourite Album (Rap/Hip-Hop). West was also voted Favourite Male Artist (Rap/Hip-Hop) and his acceptance speech was a talking point for the night!

Kanye said, "I wake up every morning thinking: 'What stereotypes do I wanna break?' It's up to artists to push one another. We'll push each other to be the new Beatles, the new Hendrix.... I wanna be Elvis!"
