Quite adamant that they didn't want to work nine to five, or end up flipping burgers at some junk food joint, the girls decided that the best option would be to start a band.

The only problem with that was that none of them had an instrument, let alone knew how to play one. After making a democratic decision as to who would play what (Kat - guitar; Lucy - bass; Alice - drums), they set about figuring how to play their instruments by listening to their favourite bands (Ramones; Radio Birdman; The Ronettes; Jan & Dean and Mach Pelican).
