Wolfmother Blow Away Rainy Sydney For Take 40 Live!

Despite the rain, the crowd at Sydney's Entertainment Quarter for the inaugural Take 40 Live event were absolutely blown away.

Wolfmother frontman Andrew Stockdale was clearly enjoying being back on the stage with his new bandmates for the gig, presented by Guitar Hero 5.

New single 'New Moon Rising', from the upcoming new album 'Cosmic Egg', was a hit with the crowd, while classics 'Woman' and 'Joker and the Thief' were also front-runners for song-of-the-night.

The crowd got right into the show with some revellers crowd surfing and throwing their shirts to the stage!

Celebrity guests included Miss Australia 2006 Erin McNaught. The very first Take 40 Live show was completely free to attend, all thanks to the release of Guitar Hero 5 and Wolfmother's brand new album 'Cosmic Egg', in stores October 23!
