Anthony Callea's Single Again

Former Idol finalist Anthony Callea has split from his boyfriend of over three years!

Callea, who came out as gay earlier this year, has revealed that he is no longer with long-term boyfriend Paul Riggio.

"I am officially single as of a week and a half ago," Anthony said. "You know, s*** happens. It's onwards and upwards for me from here."

Anthony has been seen around Melbourne town with 'National Bingo Night' host Tim Campbell, who he worked with in Perth for the musical 'Rent'. The two 'friends' were seen hanging out at the Botanical bar in South Yarra on Saturday night.

Callea's manager Wayne Pilkington insists that Anthony and Tim are just friends. "To suggest Anthony and Tim are anything more than colleagues is totally untrue," he said.

Meanwhile, Anthony is gearing up to perform at this year's 'Carols By Candlelight', held annually in the Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Christmas Eve. He has been named the official ambassador for the event, run by Vision Australia.

"Nothing compares to looking over a sea of smiling candlelit faces at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl," Callea said in a statement on his website. "It's also important to remember that this event is a fundraiser for children who are blind or have low vision with proceeds going to support the great work of Vision Australia."
