Tim Campbell & Anthony Callea An 'Item'

The cat is out of the bag. Anthony Callea and actor Tim Campbell have confirmed rumours that they have been seeing each other romantically.

25-year-old Callea, who came out as gay last year, has been seen spending a lot of time with his 'friend' Tim Campbell in recent months, following him on tour with the musical 'Shout'.

Campbell, 32, outed the couple in a radio interview with Melbourne radio station Vega's breakfast crew, which includes 'Australian Idol' judge Ian Dickson.

After some questioning, Campbell admitted: "There was stuff written in the paper a while ago... and actually Anthony and I are a bit of an item at the moment."

"The question was asked a while ago and we weren't, but we have gotten to a point where we are very happy together."

Ian 'Dicko' Dickson was a bit shocked with the revelation, admitting that he wasn't even sure that Tim was gay!
