Paulini's Tour Diary Entry!

30-08-06

Well , only a few days ago we were in Adelaide. Again, sold out shows, how good do we feel??!!!! Apart from performing, which is always fun, we actually got out and about and did some great things in Adelaide during the day here are my highlights! We went shopping in Rundle St we all bought up BIG time, it was fabulous. They have the most fabulous stores down there! We got taken to the Central market a foodies heaven. I though Ricki-Lee was going to pass out with the sheer excitement of all the great food! We bought stacks of goodies and local produce Haighs is the best chocolate shop we have ever encountered! I got some beautiful yoghurt too, nice and healthy! And I bought a pair of ugg boots! Then we went to a music store called market Music and got a huge selection of CDs its not very often that we actually get a chance to buy music ourselves. I got the new Christina album I think she is wonderful. Plus we had time to get our nails done in the Adelaide Arcade what a treat! Then after that ricki-lee couldnt help herself, she went back to Rundle st for more shopping!!! Now we are off to Queensland all of our shows are sold out! Cant wait to check out rockhampton, mackay and Bundaberg! More soon, see ya, Paulini xxx

Our last shows were in Melbourne - sooooo huge! We had 3 sell out which was just so cool. It seems every time we perform things get better and better and we are enjoying it so much. Problem is we have all come down with the lurgy but will fight it off! Heaps of our friends turned up backstage in Melbourne, we got flowers given to us from fans which was just lovely. Next stop we are off to Adelaide flying, no Tarago this time! I couldnt believe it Emily has never been to Adelaide before. Shame we wont have time to take in any of their gorgeous wineries but I reckon we could always sneak off for some shopping, I hear Rundle St East End is really good. We are still recording our debut album too we sometimes go in together, other days we do our own vocals bits in the studio, its a bit of a mixed bag. I think were still on target to have it out early in October and that is such an exciting thought. So Im off to drink honey and lemon and rest myself before our Adelaide shows. Cheers everyone! Emily's First Entry

Our national tour kicked off last week with 3 huge shows, it was so exciting! For those of you who dont know, we have a stack of our shows coming up plus we are supporting Westlife on their first Australian concert tour, which will be amazing. We also just added some shows with Guy Sebastian at the start of September in Sydney and Melbourne. We cant wait to perform live with Guy! Anyway, so we all got together last Friday afternoon for the first show of the tour Campbelltown. We piled into the Tarago and drove to all of our gigs on the weekend so much fun! Kate is the designated driver, and Ricki-Lee and Paulini sing the whole time quite funny really! It was fun to perform live together again as its been quite a few weeks. THIS TIME I KNOW ITS FOR REAL really goes down well, but in actual fact, all the crowds over the weekend were up and singing and dancing it seems people come to our shows to have a really fun time. Definitely Newcastle went off, those people sure know how to party. We just love the chance to dress up too, typical girls we find that great new outfit, and then get out there on stage! So this week we are going to Melbourne were performing live on 9AM with David and Kim this Friday on Channel 10 if you want to check us out, plus doing other promo at radio stations. A couple of us have to do some extra recording in the studio in Melbourne on Wednesday. Were still putting down tracks for our debut album, cant wait to get that out. We will perform in Melbourne on Friday and Saturday night, so I will hand over the tour diary to Ricki-Lee, plus she can fill you all in on any amusing stories that come up during the week! Cheers, Emily
