Singer Mika Comes Out As Gay

We kind of thought everyone already knew this.... But it turns out British singer Mika has only just officially come out as gay!

Though the British singer/song-writer previously identified himself as bisexual, he clarified his orientation in an upcoming interview with Instinct magazine recently.

Mika revealed: "If you ask me am I gay, I say yeah. Are these songs about my relationship with a man? I say yeah. And it's only through my music that I've found the strength to come to terms with my sexuality beyond the context of just my lyrics. This is my real life."

It must never be an easy thing to publicly discuss your sexuality, so we want to congratulate Mika for taking such a brave step!

We're glad Mika is confident enough to serve as a role model for other young men and women around the world.
