Akon And Ciara Join Summerbeatz 2010 - Except For Melbourne

Superstars Akon and Ciara have just been announced as amazing new additions to the Summerbeatz 2010 line up! However, Akon has been banned from appearing at the Melbourne show.

They will join Flo Rida, Jay Sean, Soulja Boy, Travie McCoy, Stan Walker and DJ Nino Brown for what is going to be an amazing night of live music!

Ciara will be performing in all cities, while Akon will be performing in Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.

Promoter Dwayne Cross released the following statement "It's with great regret that we announce that Akon will not be performing in Melbourne on the Summerbeatz 2010 Tour. This is due to restrictions put on us by the Melbourne venue Rod Laver Arena."

We're guessing this is because of the fight that took place at Akon's 2009 Melbourne concert.
