Reformed Irish boy band 'Boyzone' are over the moon after they recently recruited their dream producer Mark Ronson to work on their next album.

The Grammy award winning producer has worked with some of the world's biggest artists including Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, Kaiser Chiefs and more recently Australia's very own Daniel Merriweather.

Despite the fact that Boyzone have sold over 20 million albums they were still desperate to work with Ronson. Though they still feared he would turn them down as he is notoriously fussy about whom he works with.

But Ronson has agreed to head into the studio with the Irish five piece -- where they'll be hoping to continue the same chart topping success of the past 17 years.

Frontman Ronan Keating completely idolises Mark and recently said, "I'm a big fan of Mark's. We wanted to do something really different for this album. We've all grown up and we want to show that with a new sound. It will be colourful, bright and uplifting."
