Bahamas babe Rihanna is working with Ne-Yo to improve her vocal skills for her new material.
"He is such a genius," Rihanna said. "I've never had vocal training, so when I'm in the studio, he'll tell me how to breathe and stuff."
Rihanna says that with her new album, she wants "to keep people dancing but still be soulful at the same time." The songs will be mostly uptempo. "You feel different every album, and (at) this stage I feel like I want to do a lot of uptempo (songs)."
The singer is also booked to work with hit producer Timbaland, and the Black Eyed Peas' Will. I. Am.
