Chris Brown is joining Missy Elliot and Naughty by Nature as the final artists to be added to an already huge line up at this year's Supafest festival.

Supafest have already confirmed that Big Sean, P. Diddy, Kelly Rowland, Lupe Fiasco, Rick Ross, Ice Cube and Trey Songz will be performing -- and are over the moon that recent Grammy award winner Brown is joining the line-up.

Supafest Director's John Denison and Dwayne Cross say of the announcement, "We are very proud with our final artist's announcement, which features undoubtedly one of the greatest performers of his time in Chris Brown along with one of the biggest female hip-hop superstars, Missy Elliot."

The announcement of Chris Brown joining the Supafest bill comes after a month full of controversy for the singer.

Stars and the public alike took to Twitter.com after the Grammys to complain about Brown's win for Best R&B album and his appearance at the awards- three years after he viciously beat then girlfriend Rihanna.

His controversial welcome back into the music fold was then followed by his appearance on Rihanna's latest single Birthday Cake, in which he sings "Give it to her in the worst way."

Tell us what you think about Chris coming back to Australia? Are you excited or angry?

I think it's amazing that he's coming! he has an incredible amount of talent, and Australians deserve to get to see that live, the lineup would hardly be that good if he wasn't headlining. I don't understand why people's personal lives have to get inbetween their talent. Take 40 please do a competition to win backstage passes!!
