APRA 2012 Nominations Announced - Matt Corby, Gotye and Kimbra Go Head To Head!

This year's APRA nominations were announced this morning, and it's been revealed that Kimbra will compete directly against Gotye for the APRA song of the year, as well as Matt Corby, Lanie Lane and The Beards!

It's pretty much a win win for Kimbra though if Gotye wins, as he's nominated for his global pop phenomenon Somebody That I Used To Know on which she features vocally!

Despite topping charts all around the world and even scoring a spot on Glee, Gotye has revealed he still feels honoured to be nominated for APRA's Song Of The Year.

"The APRA Song of the Year is voted on by other songwriters, so it's a great honour to be nominated!," Wally De Backer aka Gotye said in a statement for Noise11.com today.
