We spoke to two of the boys from The Wombats this week backstage just before their Melbourne show!

The lads have been stoked with the reception they've received on their latest tour and will even be coming back in March for Future Music Festival.

We wanted to know however, even though they're huge stars, have they ever had any awkward celebrity moments?

The answer was a resounding - yes!

Matthew Murphy let us in on a doozey of an awkward encounter... with none other than Kirsten Dunst at Coachella music festival!

The boys also talked about trying to impress the ladies of Australia and whose set they might be crashing when they come back for Future.
