Adele Slated To Continue Winning Streak At Independent Music Awards

Adele is set to take on the Artic Monkeys and Friendly Fires at the upcoming Association of Independent Music Awards, where she has received two top nominations.The British songstress' wildly popular second album and follow up to 19, nominated for 'Best Difficult Second Album'.
Adele's 21 will go head to head with Bon Iver's self-titled record, Fleet Foxes' Helplessness Blues, Pala by Friendly Fires and Toddla T's Watch Me Dance.
The singer has also been nominated for 'Most Played Independent Artist', facing off against the Artic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend and the XX.
Other artists nominated are The Horrors for 'Independent Breakthrough of The Year', alongside metal act Bring Me The Horizon, jazz star Caro Emerald and producer SBTRKT.
Icelandic eccentric Bjork will receive the 'Outstanding Contribution To Music Award' at the inaugural event- set to take place on 10 November (11).
