Britney Spears Walks Out On X Factor Auditions After Contestant Covers Her Song!

Britney Spears had to leave the stage of The X Factor auditions on North Carolina on Monday after a contestant butchered her own pop hit '(You Drive Me) Crazy'!

The contestant, dressed in drag, left Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Antonio 'L.A.' Reid and Simon Cowell all dumbstruck after their shocking performance.

Reid appeared to feel Spears' pain during the audition - he patted the singer on the back as Lovato and Cowell tried to hide their disbelief by covering their faces with their hands, reports People.com.

Spears then had to take a break and left the room to compose herself.

It's not the first time she had walked off The X Factor set, she left the stage in May after another contestant destroyed her song Hold It Against Me.
