Ladyhawke's new album 'Anxiety'is out today around Australia, and we have it hear on Take 40 for you to listen to!

Like her first self-titled release, Anxiety provides an album chock full of undeniably catchy, well written songs, full of fun and ready for you to dance to.

Ladyhawke aka Pip Brown hails from New Zealand, and revealed to The Herald Sun that the title of Anxiety had a personal resonance with her.

"I was on medication for anxiety," Pip admitted. "I literally needed to take a pill to leave the house or survive being on tour. It was pretty bad. I'm so anxious. I really struggle with a lot of the travel and the crowds of people. It really took its toll on my brain."

"Sometimes you look at your schedule and there's not even an eight-hour break for sleep. It's fun but days of five hours sleep starts to mess with your head. So I started taking anxiety medication."
