Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera seemed to be at odds with each other for most of this years (2012) American version of The Voice -- but many believed that it was all for the ratings.
But now Levine has revealed that he struggled to bond with his fellow judge when they first met -- saying that the pair got off to a "rough start".
Levine and Aguilera helped launch the hit U.S. talent show alongside Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton last year (2011), but they hit the headlines for the wrong reasons following speculation of a bust-up behind-the-scenes.
In an attempt to silence the claims, they recorded a hit duet together, Moves Like Jagger, but despite the singles success the rumours refused to go away.
And now Levine has finally revealed that when he first met Aguilera he butted heads with her - although he insists they worked through their issues and are now close pals.
He told MTV News, "We bickered a little bit in the beginning, to be totally truthful, we had a little bit of a rough start, just kind of all getting to know each other."
"But I love her, she's the best, and we're having a fantastic time as of late on the set."
What do you guys think? Christina and Adam the best of friends? Or just playing nice?
