Agnes

Growing up in small town of Vanersborg, music was always an integral part of her life. Her career took off at the tender age of 17, as the youngest ever Pop Idol winner, triggering a string of chart successes in Sweden, leading to gold, platinum and double platinum selling albums. As she grew, so her style evolved, until she was introduced to songwriter and producer Anders Hansson in 2008. The creative sparks began to fly as Hansson's dance flavoured production allowed Agnes to express her drive, energy and attitude, and of course, let loose with her incredible vocals. 'Release Me' is the result of this studio alchemy and announces the arrival of a major new talent.

The video for 'Release Me' has already hit well over 3 million views on YouTube and the single entered the UK singles chart at no 3 early June. It has sold more than 250 000 downloads across Europe and reached no 1 on iTunes UK, no 1 on Music Week Cool Cuts chart, no 1 on Music Week Commercial Pop Top 30 chart, no 1 on UK TV airplay chart and no 2 on UK radio airplay chart, top 10 on Billboard European singles , top 10 on the singles charts in Belgium and Denmark (gold!), and top 3 airplay in distant territories like South Africa and Israel.

The album "Dance Love Pop" is soon to be released internationally and contains smashes like "On And On" and "Love Love Love", both already proven hits in Sweden, to mention a few. Through beats and ballads, the album showcases Agnes at her best.

With her infectious enthusiasm, sparkling energy and stunning vocal ability, Agnes is on the way to becoming one of music's biggest new names.
