Ronan Keating Announces Divorce On Twitter, After Affair

The X Factor judge Ronan Keating and wife Yvonne have ended their 14-year marriage, and confirmed the news simultaneously on Twitter today.Ronan failed to get his relationship back on track after his affair with back-up dancer Francine Cornell was revealed in 2010.
The fling happened during a tour and continued for around seven months.
Despite details of the seven-month affair going public, Yvonne and Ronan tried to work things out for the sake of their children.
Today 35 year old Ronan tweeted "Sadly our news is true. Thank u all for your support. Yvonne and I still love and care for each other and want to protect our kids. X"
Yvonne followed up on her own Twitter account, "Sadly our marriage ended late last year. We kept this news private to give everybody involved time to adjust. Thank you for your support x"
Last year, Ronan admitted in an interview with The Mail on Sunday, "I make mistakes. I'm definitely not comfortable with the mistakes that I've made and I'm still trying to resolve them.
"The people I love the most have been hurt - my family. I take the blame for that."
