Offspring's Dexter Makes Pretty Fly Hot Sauce

Offspring frontman Dexter Holland must have too much time on his hands these days. He revealed to our US correspondent that he's started making condiments!

"I decided to start making hot sauce," Dexter said. "It's called 'Gringo Bandito' and I've been coming up with this recipe for the last year."

"It's really exciting and something very different from working with the band."

The super hot sauce can be sold through selected US supermarkets. Holland admits that sales arent skyrocketing just yet but hes remaining cautiously optimistic and has his own unique way of marketing the product.

"Well, I ask my mum to go in to the store and buy a couple of bottles every week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed."

Sounds like he shouldn't give up his day job just yet. Meanwhile, Offspring's highly anticipated next album entitled 'Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace', their first studio effort in four years, will be released June 17.
