Damon Albarn Reveals Blur And The Gorillaz Are Over?

12 April 2012

Damon Albarn from Blur has dropped a few hints recently that he might be read to slow things down, but this week he has suggested pretty emphatically that Blur could be over for good!

When quizzed about whether we can expect a new album from Blur, the frontman bluntly told The Guardian, "No, I don't think so."

And despite being confirmed to play at the London's 2012 Olympics, he also hinted that it could be the last time fans ever get to see the group together on stage.

Revealing plans to finish things on a positive note, the singer said, "I hope that's the truth: that that's how we end it."

Sadly, any end to Blur will mean the demise of Damon's super successful virtual band The Gorillaz too.
