Canadian singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in March 2008.
Morissette's debut album 'Jagged Little Pill' sold millions of copies worldwide, making her an overnight success, with singles such as 'Ironic' and 'Hand In My Pocket'.
Alanis' induction will take place in Toronto on March 7, when she receives the lifetime achievement award.
Meanwhile Alanis has made the move into acting, recently scoring a role in a movie about the life of science fiction author Philip K. Dick, called 'Radio Free Albermuth.'
