Gwen Stefani and Justin Timberlake have both recently donated large sums of money to charities.
Gwen has chosen to help the victims of the wild fires currently burning in California by donating the proceeds of a concert to the San Diego Foundation.
"San Diego has always been so supportive of me throughout my entire career... living in Orange County, it has always been like a second home to me," Gwen said. "When I heard about the devastation of the fires at first I felt I should cancel my show out of respect, but then it occurred to me there might be a more useful solution."
Meanwhile fellow pop star Justin Timberlake has pledged approximately $100,000 to an Australian wildlife fund, as a tribute to the late Steve Irwin.
During a concert in Brisbane on Saturday, Justin announced, "When I came here last time, it really hit me... I said to myself, 'What can I do?' So what I did was 50 cents from every ticket sold on the Australian tour goes to Wildlife Warriors."
Justin takes his FutureSex/LoveShow tour to Sydney tomorrow night.
