Nickelback Singer's One Year Driving Ban

Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger was yesterday slapped with a one year driving ban and $600 (Canadian) fine for his drink driving charge.

Kroeger was pulled over by police for speeding in 2006. He registered almost twice the legal alcohol limit in a breathalyzer test and was arrested on the spot.

Chad defended himself to reporters, saying that while he does not condone drink driving, "everyone makes mistakes".
