WATCH: Carly Rae Jepsen Debuts On Ellen With Justin Bieber

25 March 2012

Justin Bieber and his artist Carly Rae Jepsen appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' show on Thursday (aired Friday) to the delight of her studio audience!

Ellen attempted to introduce the singer but was drowned out by the screams and calls from the audience when Justin unexpectedly appeared from backstage!

Justin then took over at Ellen's request and said, "Here to make her US television debut with Call Me Maybe please welcome my artist, Carly Rae Jepsen."

Carly Rae then performed an incredible rendition of her hit Call Me Maybe, before joining Justin on the couch to chat with Ellen.

Ellen asked Justin why he chose Carly to be his first artist, with Justin explaining how he came across Carly's music in Canada and was desperate to sign her after listening over her back catalogue.

Carly then joked about getting the call from Justin saying, "One miraculous day Justin called."

To which Ellen responded, "You know how that happens, sometimes Justin just calls."

Carly then said, "Yeah no big deal," while laughing.

Then Justin lived up to his word and previewed 15 seconds of his new single Boyfriend which is set to debut tomorrow (26 March).
