Coldplay Top The Best Headline Act Of The Year Poll

Brit rockers Coldplay have topped the BBC 6's poll to find the best headlines of 2011.

Their performance at Glastonbury music festival has been named the best headlining show of the year.

Ohio rockers The National, with their show at Britain's Latitude festival in July, came in a close second.

Coming a respective third and fourth was powerhouse band Muse and vintage rockers Pulp with their performances at Reading and Leeds.

The Cure rounded out the top five with their effort at Bestival.

Mumma- to- be Beyonce was the only solo artist to crack the top ten with her set at Glastonbury coming in at number seven.
