Much has been made about teen prodigy Lorde’s unique performance style – with the singer finally addressing her eclectic moves in a playful Reddit on Monday.

In a question and answer sessions with her fans, Lorde joked that she is well aware that she looks like Lord of The Rings character Gollum when up onstage!

She said, “When i’m onstage, i don’t think about how it looks, i just concentrate on really feeling what i hear.”

“But i totally know i look like gollum when i perform, so it’s cool.”

We personally love Lorde’s theatrical performance moves!

The singer also recently spoke to V Magazine, saying that while she won’t ever be using her sexuality to sell her music – she doesn’t have an issue with artists that do.

“People like to paint me in a certain way, but I’m a hugely sex-positive person and I have nothing against anyone getting naked.”

“For me personally, I just don’t think it really would complement my music in any way or help me tell a story any better.”

She added, “It’s not like I have a problem with dancing around in undies. I think you can use that stuff in a hugely powerful way. It just hasn’t felt necessary for me.”

What do you think of Lorde’s onstage dance moves?
