Paris Hilton Sued for Copyright

06 June 2007

Celebrity socialite Paris Hilton has more than just prison on her plate - shes being sued for apparent copyright breaches for her single Stars Are Blind.

UB40 are suing V2 Music Publishing, Warner Chappell Music, and producer/songwriter Fernando Garibay for $250,000 in damages. The nineties band claim the song illegally samples their hit Kingston Town

Apparently these concerns were raised at the time Paris released the song, in 2006, but the allegations have only now come to fruition.
