Snow Patrol Singer Kissed By Dave Grohl!

Snow Patrol singer Gary Lightbody was hugged and kissed by Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl on stage at a recent music festival!

Gary told us the story when Take 40 caught up with him recently.

"I dedicated 'Chasing Cars' to Dave, for Nirvana (his former band), and when I was saying it..., I didn't know he was sitting at the side of the stage..." Lightbody explained.

"But I dedicated it to Nirvana and to the Foo Fighters, and said it was the reason why I started the band... picked up a guitar," Gary continued.

"He (Dave Grohl) came out onto the stage and... the crown just went 'ROAR'... and he gave me a big hug and said 'That was beautiful man!'... and grinned his massive big natural wholesome grin and, you know, I was deeply, deeply moved. It was amazing."

Snow Patrol wrapped up their Aussie tour dates in Perth last Saturday.
